Qualifying day Mont Sainte Anne

A pretty exciting day in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada, brought Brendan Fairclough back to speed, Floriane Pugin to a day off, Emilie Siegenthaler to the fifth spot and team manager Claudio Caluori to a win at the Red Bull Monte Descend together with Scott-Swisspower team manager Thomas Frischknecht!

Brendan Fairclough has his feeling for speed back. A solid run to the 15th qualifying spot shows lots of potential for tomorrow’s final. We can’t wait!

Emilie Siegenthaler qualified in 5th spot, while Floriane Pugin only just rolled out of the start gate to then pull out of the track to take the gondola back down. The reason for that was a hard crash in training, where she bruised her eye and couldn’t see out of it. She will still be in the final race tomorrow, as she’s protected being number 5.

Team manager Claudio Caluori raced at the Red Bull Monte Descend together with Scott-Swisspower team manager Thomas Frischknecht, and won it in a

big battle for the second time. The strongest rain ever seen chased the photographers and the TV crew off

the mountain, so we’ll have to wait for them to wake up to show you the action.
