Pushing the limits in Windham, USA

A fast track through the woods of Windham, New York, forced the athletes to ride their bikes at the absolute limit.

Only 2 hours from New York City, Windham brought us another spectacular, hot and dusty World Cup, with Patrick Thome placing 16th, Brendan Fairclough in 24th, and Noel Niederberger in 41st.

Patrick Thome is getting faster with every race. 16th place is the right result to get him hungry for the world cup finals in his home country France: Meribel in 2 weeks.

Brendan Fairclough was enjoying the track with its big variety of jumps a lot during training. Several videos kept the fans busy on their computers during the week. The race didn’t go perfect for Brendan, but he still managed to place 24th.
Noel Niederberger learnt from his team mate….. sideways is forward. (Sven Martin)
Noel Niederberger, just like Brendan, loved all those jumps on the track. When race time came, he kept them low, and showed consistency with a 41st place after his 39th from Mont Sainte Anne.
There were not just jumps. There were these gnarly rock gardens as well. (Sven Martin)
